Today's the first day of Chinese New Year and although it is not a holiday in Australia I've taken the day off since it's quiet at work. I'm hoping to get Friday off as well if there's no panic at work, this way I'll have a long weekend.
So let's just hope the phone doesn't ring and leave me in peace to enjoy my de-facto Chinese New Year holidays! Not much happening though because the celebrations are only happening on the weekend in Chinatown and Crown. We might go down to Crown on the weekend like we've been doing for the last couple of years.
